Level indicator

Level 1 Level 1 is suitable for anybody that cycles regularly but has never cycled in the mountains. You should be comfortable cycling for at least 3 hours.
Level 2 Level 2 is suitable for all reasonably experienced cyclists who have already cycled in the mountains and are comfortable cycling for 4-5 hours.
Level 3 Level 3 is for experienced cyclists preparing for multi-stage sportives in the mountains such as the Haute Route or a one-day sportive such as the Marmotte or the Etape.

 

Arrival and Departure

The standard week package is based on arriving on Sunday and departing the following Saturday, with six nights in the hotel and five days cycling from Monday to Friday. Depending on your travel arrangements, you may also be able to cycle on arrival and departure days, potentially giving you as much as seven days of cycling.

Airport pick-up

  • The airport pick-up is between 2pm and 4pm on the Sunday.
  • The airport drop-off is at 12 noon on Saturday.
  • Pick-up or drop-off can be arranged at alternative times but will incur an extra charge of €100 – €150 (for up to 4 persons).

Alternative dates

  • It is possible to arrive and depart on different days if we have sufficient notice. Please consult us for any alternative arrangements.
  • You may be able to extend your week to include riding in an Alpine sportive.

The One Week Alpine Cols package includes:

  • On-the-bike coaching (maximum group size 8 cyclists per coach, usually much less)
  • On-the-road support vehicle with free energy drinks, gels, bars and snacks, spare wheels and space to offload extra clothes and other kit.
  • Mechanical assistance throughout your stay
  • Alpine Cols Elite cycling jersey
  • Coach’s Corner evening sessions on cycling performance, power meters, climbing/descending techniques, nutrition, recovery and more
  • A full set of photographs taken during the week
  • “Tea and Tall Tales” each afternoon at the Beauregard
  • Six nights in the hotel with free Wi-Fi and access to the swimming pool and spa (sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi)
  • All meals, including unlimited soft drinks, wine or beer during the meal, with the exception of Wednesday lunch
  • Pick-up from Geneva airport, transfer to your hotel and return.

The One Week Alpine Cols package does not include:

  • Hiring a bike, wheels or a power meter .
  • Lunch on Wednesday.
  • Minibar and drinks at the hotel bar.
  • Sports massage at the end of the day.
  • Travel from where you live to and from Geneva airport.

The One Week Non-Cyclist package includes:

  • Pick-up from Geneva airport, transfer to your hotel and return.
  • Six nights in your chosen hotel with free Wi-Fi, access to the swimming pool and spa (sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi)
  • “Tea and Tall Tales” each afternoon at the Beauregard
  • Assistance with choosing, booking and getting to your non-cycling activities during the week.

The One Week Non-Cyclist package does not include:

  • The cost of any third-party activities (e.g. horse-riding, climbing, mountain-biking, etc.)
  • Lunch on Wednesday.
  • Minibar and drinks at the hotel bar.
  • Travel from where you live to and from Geneva airport.
