Family cycling holidays are great when everybody cycles, but this is not always the case! We are delighted to welcome families to La Clusaz, even if only one family member is a cyclist. La Clusaz is a fantastic place to spend all or part of a family vacation: there really is something for everyone.
See below for a sample of the many things to see and do in the village and surrounding area.
We can help you organise any of these activities: you only have to ask and we’ll take care of the reservations for you as well as help with logistics. Please contact us for more information.
As well as the pool in the hotel, there is a huge open-air public swimming pool at the Espace Aquatique des Aravis, a very short walk from the hotel in the centre of the village. With an indoor and outdoor pool, a slide for the kids and the chance to try aquabiking, there’s plenty of fun for those with energy to burn.
Children aged 3 to 11 and 12 to 15 can join groups at the Belier Club with all sorts of age-appropriate activities. The staff are of course fully qualified, enthusiastic and love helping the kids have fun.
Canyoning is descending a river bed in a narrow gorge or canyon. It involves swimming, sliding down water chutes and jumping into pools, and may also include abseiling. Wetsuits, helmets and safety equipment are provided. There are several good spots to do this close to La Clusaz and half-day trips are organised through the Bureau des Guides. Children from age 13.
