Enjoy the full Alpine Cols experience, fully privatised and just for you. With our expert support and highly knowledgeable coaches you are sure to experience the cycling holiday of a lifetime.
Ride the most famous climbs of the Tour de France, just a short distance away from the château.
Return for a restorative meal, a relaxing massage, a vist to the spa and finally a gourmet dinner before a wonderful night in a 4-poster bed.
We have two favourite locations for private groups in the Alps (see below for the Pyrenees)
the Château de la Tour du Puits, between Chambéry and Albertville, or
the Hotel Beauregard 4* in La Clusaz.
The Alpine Cols service and personal attention to detail is the same in both places.
You decide how many people you want to invite and which climbs you want to do, and we take care of the rest!
Our base for small private groups is an absolute jewel. The charming 18th century Château de la Tour du Puits is within easy cycling distance of some of the greatest climbs in the Alps.
The château provides an extraordinary haven of peace and luxury for private groups. It has just seven rooms, all of which are unique and spacious with modern ensuite bathrooms. Many of the rooms have wonderfully luxurious and comfortable 4-poster beds, perfect to sink into after a hard day’s ride!
Our host at the Château de la Tour du Puits, Raymond Prevot, is a passionate pilot with his own fleet of helicopters. In addition to our usual on-the-road support, we can thus easily fly you to or from the day’s main climbs, cutting out the transfer ride or drive along the valley floor.
“What greater luxury than to fly back to enjoy a gourmet meal and massage at the hotel, while we bring your bikes back by road!”

The Hotel Beauregard is a lovely traditional Alpine chalet style hotel. It has a total of 95 rooms so can comfortably accommodate a large private or corporate group, and has the advantage of being easily accessible from Geneva airport.
Situated in the heart of the northern Alps, in the unspoilt village of La Clusaz, the Beauregard provides on-the-bike access to at least 27 different climbs. Many of these are famous from the Tour de France, such as the Aravis, the Colombière, the Croix-Fry, the Saisies, the Cormet de Roselend, Joux Plane… No-one could ride them all in a week!
For itineraries further south that include climbs such as the Glandon, the Galibier, l’Alpe d’Huez, the Izoard or Mont Ventoux, we have arrangements with other hotels. Contact us with details of your requirements and we’ll make a bespoke proposal for you.

The Pyrenees are a fantastic alternative to the Alps and offer a huge variety of options for places to stay and beautiful places to ride. We can organise your stay based in one place or on an “A to B” itinerary, such as the famous Raid Pyrenees, 700km from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.
