Training Camps and Cycling Holidays in 2019

TENERIFE 02-09 February

The focus of this training camp will be on improving your technique while building a strong aerobic base. At least two qualified coaches will be in attendance to help you with climbing, descending, pacing, pedalling technique and bike-handling skills. Download the details.

SAINT TROPEZ 31 March – 07 April, with entry to the Granfondo Gassin Golfe de Saint Tropez

This training camp is intended to help you prepare your major objectives later in the season. During the week we will include both technical sessions and plenty of riding to improve your aerobic endurance. You have the opportunity to participate in the Granfondo Gassin Golfe de Saint Tropez on Sunday 07 April.

MEGEVE 30 May – 02 June, with entry to the Time-Megève Mont Blanc sportive

The first of our Alpine training camps is our traditional long-weekend around the Time-Megève sportive. The focus here is largely on climbing, pacing and descending well during a mountain sportive.

VALAIS 04-10 August, with entry to the Tour des Stations or Marmotte Granfondo Valais

This training camp is an excellent objective in its own right, or as a final build-up to the Haute Route Pyrenees or the Haute Route Alps. Based around the excellent Tour des Stations in the Swiss Valais, it will include a thorough reconnaissance of the route as well as the usual focus on technique.

This three-day long weekend based in an outstanding luxury hotel near Bédoin will include the opportunity to climb Mont Ventoux from all three sides, as well as to discover the fantastic Provençal countryside. On the Saturday, you can make an attempt on the famous “Cinglé” challenge and climb the mountain by all three routes on the same day.

DOLOMITES 08-14 September

We have planned our Dolomites tour for September, when the tourists have gone home and we can have the mountains (almost) to ourselves. The tour starts and finishes near Innsbruck and takes in most of the most iconic climbs in the Dolomites.

A key feature of the Alpine Cols training camps is the very small groups and high coach/guest ratio. The majority of the events listed above will be limited to 10 people and are thus likely to sell out quickly.

We will post more information and booking details shortly. In the meantime, and especially if you would like to reserve a place at the Tenerife camp, please contact us.
